ABOUT US
Good Ground is a non'profit corporation run by a board consisting of six people. It was founded in 2003 by two sisters. They started Good Ground Christian Preschool in Christ's Church of the Hills in Rotterdam, New York. It consisted of a Toddler Program and a Preschool Program. As the school grew they added an Afterschool Program and a Day Care Program. The school closed upon the retirement of it's teachers in 2021. However the two sisters, along with the board, decided to continue the mission of Good Ground which is to provide Christian Education to as many young children as they can.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
To date, we have donated to St. Mary's Institute in Amsterdam and to Mekeel Christian Academy in Scotia to provide tuition assistance where needed. We have also donated backpacks containing children's Bibles, coloring books, crayons, and small gifts to The City Mission in Schenectady.
